Though we've had many incredible outdoor networking and shooting events, we are so excited for our next outdoor WORKSHOP!

What to expect at the Dead Ends Workshop

The workshop grants the opportunity to work with professional models on a set, theme, and location with a little more supervision and education than the networking events. Michael and Julian will assist with all questions throughout the workshop. There will be 2 models and the possibility of 8 photographers. You will have the opportunity to meet new models, and photographers which will help build your network. 

Exploring the work of Julian, you'll find a bit of ethereal fantasy, eminating from your seeminly average American suburban landscapes.  His work is expressive, creative, and bends the average rules of photography and trajects his work into the category of pure art. With an incredible eye for framing, abstract angles, and distortion methods like shutter drag and tasteful blurs. Whether shooting still life or portraiture, Julian makes the average extraordinary.

What you'll need as a photographer

You'll need your camera, lenses, and any props that you desire. Bring film if you'd like as well!

Start walking by 5:45 PM

Ending chat and group photo 8:15 PM

All attendees agree to this contract upon arrival, so check it out beforehand!

I GRANT TO ALL PHOTOGRAPHERS IN ATTENDANCE AT THE SHOOT THE PERMISSION TO USE THE IMAGES, EITHER WHOLLY OR IN PART, FOR PUBLICATION IN ADVERTISING MATERIALS, WEBSITES, BLOGS, PORTFOLIOS, DISPLAY, SOCIAL MEDIA, OR ANY OTHER PROMOTIONAL METHODS FOR ALL PHOTOGRAPHERS IN ATTENDANCE AT THE SHOOT WITH ANY RETOUCHING OR ALTERATION WITHOUT RESTRICTION. I FURTHER WAIVE ANY AND ALL RIGHTS TO REVIEW OR APPROVE ANY USE OF THE IMAGES AND WRITTEN COPY OR FINISHED PRODUCTS. I WILL NOT PROSECUTE OR INSTITUTE PROCEEDINGS, CLAIMS, OR DEMANDS AGAINST ALL PHOTOGRAPHERS IN ATTENDANCE AT THE SHOOT WITH RESPECT TO ANY USAGE OF THE ABOVE-MENTIONED PHOTOGRAPHS.

FURTHERMORE, ALL PHOTOGRAPHERS IN ATTENDANCE AT THE SHOOT ALLOW THE MODEL TO USE FINAL IMAGES ON THEIR SOCIAL MEDIA AND PERSONAL MARKETING EFFORTS PHOTOGRAPHERS MUST RETURN AT LEAST FIVE IMAGES TO EACH MODEL ATTENDING WITHIN 10 WEEKS AFTER THE EVENT. PRINT PUBLICATIONS NEED TO BE PRE-APPROVED BY THE PHOTOGRAPHER WHO TOOK THE IMAGES.

ALL PHOTOGRAPHERS, MODELS, MAKEUP ARTISTS, STYLISTS, AND CREATIVES INVOLVED IN THE PROCESS OF THE EVENT MUST BE TAGGED IN ALL SOCIAL MEDIA POSTS
