Though we've had many incredible outdoor networking and shooting events, we are so excited for our next outdoor WORKSHOP!

What to expect at the Cemetery Workshop

The workshop grants the opportunity to work with professional models on a set, theme, and location with a little more supervision and education than the networking events. Michael and Rose will assist with all questions throughout the workshop. There will be between 4-10 models and the possibility of 12 photographers. You will have the opportunity to meet new models and photographers which will help build your network.  You will learn to navigate posing numerous models together, but also one-on-one.

What you'll need as a photographer

You'll need your camera, lenses, and any props that you desire.

What you'll need as a model

Models are to wear something dark. We do not accept "cheesy" makeup, outfits, or props. (all props must be approved by us)

(It is VERY IMPORTANT that you credit all collaborators when you release your images. The heart of our passions is with the community surrounding it, so not crediting artists is taken very seriously and may result in an inability to attend future events.) 

Timeline

All models and photographers show up fully ready to shoot by 4:50 PM

Speech and rules chat

Matchups begin at 5:00 PM (free for all after)

Shooting will begin by 5:20 PM

Ending chat and group photo 9:00 PM

All attendees agree to this contract upon arrival, so check it out beforehand!

I GRANT TO ALL PHOTOGRAPHERS IN ATTENDANCE AT THE SHOOT THE PERMISSION TO USE THE IMAGES, EITHER WHOLLY OR IN PART, FOR PUBLICATION IN ADVERTISING MATERIALS, WEBSITES, BLOGS, PORTFOLIOS, DISPLAY, SOCIAL MEDIA, OR ANY OTHER PROMOTIONAL METHODS FOR ALL PHOTOGRAPHERS IN ATTENDANCE AT THE SHOOT WITH ANY RETOUCHING OR ALTERATION WITHOUT RESTRICTION. I FURTHER WAIVE ANY AND ALL RIGHTS TO REVIEW OR APPROVE ANY USE OF THE IMAGES AND WRITTEN COPY OR FINISHED PRODUCTS. I WILL NOT PROSECUTE OR INSTITUTE PROCEEDINGS, CLAIMS, OR DEMANDS AGAINST ALL PHOTOGRAPHERS IN ATTENDANCE AT THE SHOOT WITH RESPECT TO ANY USAGE OF THE ABOVE-MENTIONED PHOTOGRAPHS.

I HEREBY RELEASE THE PHOTOGRAPHERS NAMED ABOVE FROM ALL CLAIMS AND LIABILITY RELATING TO IMAGES, VIDEO, OR PHOTOGRAPHS TAKEN OF/FOR ME.

FURTHERMORE, ALL PHOTOGRAPHERS IN ATTENDANCE AT THE SHOOT ALLOW THE MODEL TO USE FINAL IMAGES ON THEIR SOCIAL MEDIA AND PERSONAL MARKETING EFFORTS PHOTOGRAPHERS MUST RETURN AT LEAST FIVE IMAGES TO EACH MODEL ATTENDING WITHIN 10 WEEKS AFTER THE EVENT. PRINT PUBLICATIONS NEED TO BE PRE-APPROVED BY THE PHOTOGRAPHER WHO TOOK THE IMAGES.

ALL PHOTOGRAPHERS, MODELS, MAKEUP ARTISTS, STYLISTS, AND CREATIVES INVOLVED IN THE PROCESS OF THE EVENT MUST BE TAGGED IN ALL SOCIAL MEDIA POSTS
