What to expect at the Back to Basics Workshop

At the Back To Basics Workshop, photographers will be working with models and other photographers with basic lighting setups and a variety of backdrops. 

Before shooting, we will discuss and go over how to set up and use the flash triggers, how to mount and control lighting stands, and the basics of light control and dispersal with soft boxes, grids, and bare lighting. We will discuss and practice lighting settings, setting up backdrops, and depth and location of where to place a model for our standard studio sets. 

This workshop is for beginners or anyone who wants to learn more about lighting. It is smaller, more intimate, and more hands on than our other events.
